Made for brackish water

Salty water, made usable

Brackish water is saltier than normal tap water, but not as salty as seawater. It is common in wells and boreholes across the region, and it is hard on pipes, equipment and crops. This system is built for exactly that kind of water.

It makes up to 4,000 gallons a day, which is roughly 15,100 litres, and handles feed water up to 3,000 ppm TDS. Its high-pressure pump, stainless steel frame and automatic controls are made for tough, daily use. Final water quality depends on your feed water, the condition of the membranes and regular servicing.

Why people pick it

  • Handles feed water up to 3,000 ppm TDS
  • Up to 99% salt rejection
  • Stainless steel, corrosion-resistant build
  • Energy-efficient high-pressure pump
  • Automatic flush and control panel

How it works

What is inside the system

Pre-filters protect the membranes, the pump pushes the water through them, and the control panel keeps an eye on everything.

01

Sediment Filter, 20"

Catches sand, rust and suspended particles first, so they do not clog or scratch the membranes.

02

Carbon Block Filter, 20"

Helps reduce chlorine and organic matter that can damage the RO membranes and shorten their life.

03

High-Efficiency Booster Pump

Gives brackish water the pressure it needs to pass through the membranes, while keeping energy use in check.

04

High-Performance RO Membranes

The main purification stage. They are designed to reject up to 99% of dissolved salts, along with heavy metals and other contaminants.

05

Control Panel and Auto Flush

Regulates pressure, monitors flow and raises system alerts. The automatic flush helps keep the membranes clean.

Build and operation

Designed for tough conditions

The frame is heavy-duty stainless steel, and the parts that touch water are corrosion-resistant, so the plant stands up to salty, demanding conditions.

Operation is mostly automatic. The system regulates pressure, watches the flow and alerts you when something needs attention, so day-to-day running is simple and servicing is easier to plan.

Key features

What you get

High output

Up to 4,000 gallons a day, enough for large-scale operations.

Advanced RO technology

Designed to reject up to 99% of dissolved salts, and to help reduce heavy metals and other contaminants.

Durable construction

Stainless steel and corrosion-resistant materials for long life in tough conditions.

Energy efficient

A high-efficiency pump gives the right flow and pressure without wasting power.

Automated operation

Automatic flush and a simple control panel make running and maintenance easier.

Built-in pre-treatment

Sediment and carbon pre-filters protect the membranes and help them last longer.

Where it is used

One system, many uses

If you rely on brackish well or borehole water, this plant can turn it into water you can actually use, whether that is for people, production or plants.

  • Commercial: restaurants, hotels and office buildings that need large volumes of purified water.
  • Industrial: factories that need cleaner water for manufacturing or processing.
  • Agricultural: irrigation systems and greenhouse operations.
  • Small community supply: small-scale water supply for communities or institutions. Drinking water supply may need local approvals, so tell us early.

Servicing and spare parts

Pre-filters are usually changed every few months, and the membranes last longer with regular flushing and cleaning. The schedule depends on your feed water, so we will plan it with you after checking your water.

Why Aqua Best

  • Low-maintenance, energy-conscious design
  • Custom configurations for your site
  • Installation and commissioning
  • Filter and membrane replacement
  • Spare parts and servicing
  • Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
  • Warranty and customer support

Warranty terms depend on the model and the site. Ask us for the details with your quotation.

4000 GPD brackish water questions

What is brackish water?

It is water with more dissolved salt than normal tap water, but less than seawater. It is common in wells and boreholes, and it can corrode equipment and harm crops.

What TDS can this system handle?

It is designed for feed water up to 3,000 ppm TDS. If your water is saltier than that, tell us. We can design a different system for it.

How much water does 4000 GPD give me?

About 4,000 gallons, or roughly 15,100 litres, of purified water in 24 hours under good conditions. The real figure depends on your feed water, temperature and pressure.

Does all the feed water become clean water?

No. Like every RO system, a share of the feed water leaves as salty reject water. How much depends on your water and the design, and we will plan for that, including where the reject water goes.

Why does it need pre-filters?

Sand, rust and chlorine can damage RO membranes. The sediment and carbon block filters catch them first, so the membranes last longer.

Can I use it for irrigation or a greenhouse?

Yes, it is used for irrigation and greenhouse water. RO water is very low in salts, which suits sensitive crops. Tell us what you grow and we will advise.

What does it need to install?

You need floor space, a power connection, a feed water supply and a drain for the reject water. We will check the site and confirm the layout.

Can it be customized?

Yes. We can tailor the configuration to your feed water, daily need and available space.

What if I need a smaller or larger size?

If 4,000 gallons a day is more than you need, have a look at our 3000 GPD model. For larger demand, we can design a bigger brackish water plant around your site.

Do you install it?

Yes. We install and look after it across Dubai and the rest of the UAE.
