How it works
How UV Sterilization Works
UV water sterilization uses ultraviolet light to help
inactivate microorganisms as water passes through a
specially designed treatment chamber.
The UV lamp exposes microorganisms to ultraviolet light,
helping prevent them from reproducing. Unlike chemical
disinfection, UV treatment does not add chemicals to the water.
For effective operation, the system should be correctly
sized for the required flow rate and maintained according
to the manufacturer's recommendations.
