Portable water treatment
What is a containerized RO system?
A containerized RO system houses the agreed treatment equipment in a container or enclosure. The proposed layout should identify pretreatment, RO, controls and any storage or distribution equipment; a container does not automatically include every site requirement.
If the enclosure is intended for seawater desalination, include that feed-water duty in the enquiry. The seawater RO guide explains the analysis and project information needed; a container enclosure alone does not define the process equipment inside.
Discuss the incoming-water analysis, daily output, operating hours and installation location. For a remote or temporary site, confirm lifting, transport access, power, incoming water, drainage and commissioning before agreeing the package.
What is inside
- High-pressure pump
- RO membranes
- Pre-treatment stages
- Post-treatment stages
- Automated controls
- Piping and fittings, all inside one enclosure
It has the same core parts as a traditional RO plant, packed so it is self-contained and easy to move.
Benefits
Why people choose containerized RO
Easy to move
The whole plant sits inside a shipping container or similar enclosure. That means it can be loaded, transported and set up almost anywhere you need it.
Simple to run
These systems are made to work in tough conditions. Automated controls mean very little hands-on attention, which helps when you have few people on site.
Fits your job
No two sites are the same. The plant can be tailored to your water, your output and your location, so you get something that suits the work.
Where it fits
Plan transport and site connections
Containerized and mobile are not interchangeable specifications. A plant intended for relocation needs a documented transport and handling arrangement, protection of components and a plan for reconnection and recommissioning at the next site.
Aqua Best supplies, installs and services mobile RO plants as well as containerized systems. Use the mobile and portable RO guide to describe relocation frequency, site connections and the proposed transport arrangement. The quotation identifies the actual equipment and work.
Tell Aqua Best whether the equipment will remain at one site or move between sites. Availability of a particular portable, trailer-mounted or rapid-deployment configuration must be confirmed in the quotation; no deployment time or transport approval is implied by the enclosure.

Containerized RO questions
What is a containerized RO system?
It is a reverse osmosis water treatment plant built inside a shipping container or similar portable enclosure. Everything needed to purify water is in one package that can be moved and set up where you need it.
Where is it used?
It works well wherever a permanent plant is not practical: temporary projects, remote or mobile locations, industrial sites, and emergency uses such as disaster relief or military operations.
What is inside the container?
The same parts you would find in a regular RO plant: a high-pressure pump, RO membranes, and pre-treatment and post-treatment stages, with controls to run it.
Is it difficult to operate?
No. These plants are designed to be easy to use, with automated controls and little need for an operator, which helps in places with limited staff.
How much does it cost?
The price depends on system capacity, water quality, installation complexity and maintenance needs. Message us on WhatsApp for a quote based on your site.
Do you install and maintain it?
Yes. We install it, service it regularly and offer AMC plans across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE.
Do you offer a site visit?
Yes. We offer free site visits, free inspections and free consultations to help you make the right decision.
Which areas do you cover?
All emirates: Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain and Al Ain.
Can you quote a mobile or portable RO plant?
Yes. Aqua Best supplies, installs and services mobile and portable RO plants. Send the water analysis, required output, operating sites and relocation needs using the mobile RO planning guide. The model, transport configuration and installation or maintenance scope are confirmed in the quotation.
Which capacity should I request for a containerized RO plant?
Provide the daily output, production window and required treated-water quality. Review the industrial RO range and brackish-water options against the feed-water analysis, rather than selecting by container size.
